This particular landscape design uses both a formal and informal garden style joined with a central reflecting pond, which ties both design styles together and provides a central focal point from the home.

This office plan addresses practical considerations such as the screening of adjacent parking areas and using the sound of a water feature as a distraction from the busy commercial district and providing a focal point to lead pedestrians to a quieter more tranquil entry.

This golf course lot has a low planting at the edge of a tree line to provide filtered views to the course, while giving the feeling of being in a protected space.

Multilevel planters, low terracing walls, and lush plantings embellish this outdoor living area. The terrace and spa is covered by an arbor of cypress timbers, creating a retreat away from the main house.

This patio extension, complete with arbor and fountain, adds an interesting dimension to an otherwise ordinary patio space. The seating wall encloses the space making it much more intimate and inviting.

This Japanese garden is complete with a foot bridge over a dry creek bed made of groundcovers, plantings and boulders, the path leads to the pool area at upper right.

Even a small rear garden space can have a diversity of the types of areas. This garden has a brick patio, seating wall, turf space and walk to a wooden arbor at lower right.
