Treated Wood Deck and Natural Wildlife Planting Plan

This hardwood tree filled wooded site has a wooden deck that reaches out into the forest. Tucked into the side of the deck is a natural pond as the plantings surrounding the deck were picked especially for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. At the top left of the wood deck area is a swing arbor for enjoying this lush woodland garden wildlife.

Stained Concrete Patio, Seating Wall and Knot Garden Plan

Occasionally clients want allot of elements in a small space, this garden features an upper porch that steps down to a brick seating wall, opens up to a small turf space surrounded by plantings and a low evergreen knot garden at the rear behind a formal elliptical shaped turf area. To the left is an arbor and a covered parking area that was added.

Gazebo Pavillion, Raised Planters with Flagstone Patio and Walks Plan

The brick raised planters that flank this gazebo and patio structure enclose the space and make a shady summer retreat to view the garden beyond. To the right of the plan are a series of raised planters for cuttings and herb garden areas, as well as a kids garden planter. Beyond this is a second flagstone patio area under a grove of small patio trees and finally a formal tiered fountain in a raised stone fountain basin.

Waterfront Lot With Negative Edge Pool Plan

Waterfront lots are an especially nice site for a negative edge pool. This example creates a four foot sheet of water at the rear edge while creating the illusion an endless seam between the pool and the water body beyond.

Large Yard Plan with Arbor, Raised Planters Walks and Concrete Patio

To make the most of the views and to persuade visitors to move into the landscape we created a generous patio space flanked with raised planters and topped with an arbor for shade. In addition the patio at the rear boasts of a stained concrete patio finish with a decorative medallion at center.
